Halloween Afternoon Tea is a popular annual event at the Lobby Lounge of the Westin Osaka, and the theme for 2021 is “Ghostly Halloween,” with a variety of menu items incorporating various ghostly motifs.
Sweets and savories to get you in the Halloween mood
A total of three tiers of afternoon tea stands are decorated with cute and horrifying sweets and savories that hide a ghost on each tier. The first tier features a “ghost chocolate cookie” with a wide open mouth, the second tier features a “ghost marron raw chocolate truffle” with gyuhi as a bandage, and the third tier features a ghost-shaped meat pie and a pumpkin salad with lantern ghosts.
