Jambuka, a cheese specialty store on the 4th floor of Abeno Q’s Mall in Osaka, will be selling three new hybrid sweets of baked sweet potato and cheese as a new menu item for a limited time only from October 29 (Fri.) to November 30 (Tue.), 2021.
Baked Sweet Potato & Rare Cheese Cream Hybrid Sweets
The baked sweet potatoes and cheese are made from a new brand of sweet potato, Silk Sweet, which has a silky smooth texture, and are steamed for an hour to bring out the natural sweetness and crunchiness of the ingredients while maintaining their moisture content.
The baked sweet potatoes are topped with “special rare cheese cream,” which is made from rich cream cheese and a refreshing rare cheese. The gentle sourness and sweetness of the rare cheese cream accentuates the sweetness of the baked potatoes to the maximum extent.
Baked sweet potato brulee or Mont Blanc
The menu consists of three types: “Cheese x Dense Sweet Potato Brulee,” with rare cheese melting from the surface of the crispy baked sweet potato brulee; “Cheese x Sweet Potato Caramel Apple,” where you can enjoy the harmony of apple compote with the aroma of Hokkaido butter, baked sweet potato, cheese, and salted caramel ice cream; and “Cheese x Sweet Potato Chocolate Mont Blanc,” where you can squeeze a generous amount of cream combining sweet potato paste and chocolate sauce on top of the baked sweet potato. “The “Cheese x Sweet Potato Chocolate Mont-Blanc” is filled with a creamy mixture of sweet potato paste and chocolate sauce.
Both menus offer two types of baked potatoes, hot and cold. “You can choose between the moist and chewy “warm baked sweet potato” or the doubly sweet “cold baked sweet potato”.
