The Belgian Beer Weekend Executive Committee will hold “Belgian Beer Weekend 2022 Osaka (BBW Osaka)” for four days from Thursday, May 12 to Sunday, May 15 at Osaka Castle Park Taiyo no Hiroba.
“BBW Osaka” after 3 years
This year’s Belgian Beer Weekend Osaka will be the 10th in three years, offering 52 Belgian beers of 11 types to enjoy under the warm and pleasant early summer sun with a view of the Osaka Castle Keep!
In addition to popular Belgian dishes such as frites and meatballs, which are indispensable to BBW, there will also be dumplings that go well with Belgian beer. You can also enjoy your own food pairing to see which Belgian beer goes best with which dish.
Live stage by instrumental band “jizue”
The live stage by artists visiting Japan from Belgium, which is a big draw every year, will not take place this year, but Kyoto-based instrumental band “jizue” will perform on the last day of the festival.
The band’s sound is a perfect balance of rock, hardcore-influenced soul-stirring power, jazz swing, and lyrical melodies, and is sure to be a fun time with a Belgian beer in one hand.
