NAKED (NAKED, INC.) will hold a limited summer event at Nijo Castle in Kyoto, “NAKED Summer Festival 2023 World Heritage Nijo Castle,” from Friday, July 21, 2023 to Sunday, August 20, 2023.

NAKED is involved in multi-disciplinary events centered on digital art, such as the “Naked Flowers” flower art exhibition and the projection mapping of the Tokyo Station building. The “NAKED Summer Festival”, which was held for the first time in 2022, is an event where you can enjoy the tasteful Japanese summer through content that makes full use of digital technology unique to NAKED.
Projection Mapping Fireworks and Digital Ennichi Experience
The venue consists of three main areas: an area where you can learn about historical buildings such as the Karamon gate, an important cultural property, and the Ninomaru Palace, a national treasure; the mapping fireworks display area, where you can see Kyoto’s largest projection mapping fireworks; and the hyper-ennichi area, where you can enjoy a digital Ennichi experience and snack-style drinks at food stalls. You can enjoy a summer festival unique to World Heritage Nijo Castle through the “Naked”-like production that fuses the real and the virtual.
