Universal Studios Japan (hereinafter: USJ) will hold the event “Universal Cool Japan 2023” featuring Japanese animation and games from February 17 (Friday) to July 2 (Sunday), 2023. It will be held for a limited time.
USJ “Universal Cool Japan 2023”
“Universal Cool Japan” is one of USJ’s biggest events every year. The 2023 version of “Universal Cool Japan 2023” has decided to participate in three works: “SPY x FAMILY”, “Detective Conan” and “Monster Hunter”.
“SPY×FAMILY”
“SPY x FAMILY”, which will be appearing in USJ for the first time, will hold a live entertainment show in the form of a “mystery solving rally” for the first time in the history of the work. You can enjoy an interactive attraction that combines a mystery-solving rally that solves codes hidden everywhere in the park and a live entertainment show that can only be experienced by guests who have deciphered the codes.
“Detective Conan”
“Detective Conan” will hold an event titled “Detective Conan World” in 2023. There will be a real escape game that serves as the prologue to the latest theatrical version “Detective Conan: Black Iron Shadow”, an entertainment restaurant where Heiji Hattori and Kazuha Toyama will appear for the first time, and a “slapstick” coaster where you can ride with the Boy Detectives.
“Monster Hunter”
“Monster Hunter World: Iceborn XR WALK”, which is still being held as of February 2023, will continue to be held at “Universal Cool Japan 2023”. It is a next-generation VR attraction where you can experience the world of “Monster Hunter World: Iceborn” realistically while moving your own hands and feet without physical restraints.
