Art Hotel Osaka Bay Tower will hold a limited time sweets buffet “PURPLE SWEETS COLLECTION -WALPURGIS NIGHT-” from May 6, 2021 (Thu) to the end of June.
“Valpurgis Night” Themed Sweets Buffet
Valpurgis Night” is a traditional European custom and an ancient Celtic festival held on May 1st. This buffet is inspired by the witches’ sabbat, or soiree, held on May 1st, and features sweets in a mysterious, dark fantasy world with purple and black as the theme colors.
The theme colors are purple and black, mysterious and dark sweets.
For example, the “Dark Brocken” is a geode cake that represents the misery of Brocken Mountain, where witches gather on the night of Valpurgis. It is one of the symbolic sweets of the buffet, decorated with green jewel-like candies that emit a suspicious glow.
In addition to the above, there are a total of 14 unique original sweets made by the patissier, including “Sabat Tart,” a purple sweet potato vegan tart with a bird’s-eye view of witches at a night party, and “WITCH’S HAT TOWER,” a blueberry and blackberry cream macaron with the image of a witch’s pointy hat. You can enjoy a total of 14 unique and original sweets specially made by the patissier.
In addition to the above, there will be a wide variety of food, such as “Black Angus Beef Steak,” “Grilled Hokkaido Scallops,” and “Grilled Pork Shoulder Loin,” all made by the hotel, as well as live kitchen dishes prepared right in front of you. Including the sweets, there are a total of 80 different dishes on the menu.
