Bakery Cafe of premium bread specialty store “Sakimoto” will launch new sweet toast “Caramelized Toast Mont Blanc” at its two stores in Kyoto Sanjo Kamogawa and Osaka Shogo Honten from January 15 (Sat), 2022.

New Mont-Blanc-style toast at Sakimoto, a premium bread specialty store

A bakery-cafe attached to a store that offers a variety of cafe menus using Sakimoto bread. This time, “Caramelized Toast with Mont-Blanc” is newly added to the menu lineup, and it is a toast with caramelized toast and Mont-Blanc cream that you can enjoy like a sweet.
Caramelized Toast Kyoto Hojicha Mont Blanc
The “Caramelized Toast Kyoto Hojicha Mont-Blanc”, which is available at both the Kyoto Sanjo Kamogawa store and the Osaka Hatsu No Hon store, is made with “Kyokubi “Natural” Bread” brûléed with butter and sugar, topped with special whipped cream and homemade blueberry jam. It is topped with special whipped cream and home-made blueberry jam, and filled with Mont Blanc cream made with hojicha tea produced in Kyoto Prefecture. The special whipped cream and Mont-Blanc cream are topped with Hokkaido sour cream and sweet and sour blueberries for a rich yet refreshing aftertaste.

In addition, three other types are available: “Caramelized Toast Kyoto Prefecture Uji Green Tea Mont Blanc” (available only at the Kyoto Sanjo Kamogawa store), which combines tsubu-an (sweetened red bean paste) and Kyoto Prefecture Uji green tea Mont Blanc cream, and “Caramelized Toast Pistachio Mont Blanc” (available only at the first Osaka flagship store), which is layered with homemade strawberry jam and Mont Blanc cream with pistachio paste.
