One of the must-see spots is the 2.2km long row of 600 cherry blossom trees. The beautiful rows of cherry blossom trees were planted in 1953 by the citizens of Fukui City, which was rebuilt after the war and the earthquake.
In addition, the Fukui Castle ruins and other famous cherry blossom spots in the surrounding area are also lit up, and the entire city is colored in cherry blossoms.
