eXcafe Gion Shinbashi, a popular cafe in Kyoto, reintroduces breakfast menu “Breakfast at eXcafe” in collaboration with NEKO NEKO.
Popular breakfast menu of cat-shaped bread and a seven-wheeled stove is back!
Since its launch in September 2020, this breakfast menu has been very popular, but sales were temporarily suspended. This time, in response to fans’ requests, the breakfast menu has been further updated.
Changed to tortoiseshell cat motif
The toast, which can be enjoyed to the desired degree of doneness using a shichirin, has been changed to a “tortoiseshell cat” motif for the re-launch. The toast has a special flavor with caramel, black cocoa, and plain flavors kneaded into the dough. The toppings include whipped cream, fruit, butter, and anko (sweet bean paste), so it is recommended that you add your own twist to your favorite topping.
The plate also comes with two dumplings (white and mugwort), one of Ix Cafe’s signature dishes. You can also enjoy your choice of coffee, green tea latte, or other beverages.
