Concept store featuring “Calpico” x fermented food drinks
The “Fermented ‘Calpico’ Parlor” is a store where visitors can enjoy a special combination of fermented foods and Calpico, a member of the fermented food family.
Three standard beverages
The signature menu item at the “Fermented ‘Calpico’ Parlor” is an original drink that combines “Calpico” and fermented foods. The “Amazake and ‘Calpico'” is a standard menu item with the natural sweetness of each, while adding the flavors of coconut and raspberry as accents.
The soda-based “Moromi Vinegar and ‘Calpisco'” has a sweet and sour taste. Also available is “Yogurt and ‘Calpico'” topped with orange for a fresh taste.
Limited menu with fermented foods from all over Japan
In addition to the regular menu, the restaurant will also offer seasonal drinks, which will be divided into four blocks throughout Japan to cover fermented foods from all regions of the country in one year. At the time of opening, ingredients from the Kanto Koshinetsu and Tokai regions are used. The lineup will include two types of drinks: “Strawberry Puree-Tailored Yogurt and ‘Calpico’,” which uses yogurt from Gifu Prefecture and has an elegant balance of sweetness and sourness, and “Melon Puree-Glazed Cream Cheese and ‘Calpico’,” which offers the rich richness of cream cheese from Nagano Prefecture.
Original sweets “shaken and mixed” are also available.
In addition, “CALPICO” Jelly” is available with fermented ingredients and fruit sauces, which can be shaken, mixed, and drunk as original sweets. The taste varies depending on the sauce chosen, such as apple cider vinegar & white peach or fermented soy milk & strawberry, and the texture changes depending on the number of shakes.
