Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel’s “Christmas Cake and Stollen 2022” will feature Christmas cakes with Santa Claus and reindeer motifs, as well as Stollen.
Cakes inspired by the streets of Shibuya
SHIBUYA CHRISTMAS” is a Christmas cake inspired by the city of Shibuya. The “Tokyu 5000 series train” that was once placed in the plaza in front of Shibuya Station, the Tokyu Line character “Norurun”, and Santa Claus are all represented with delicate marzipan work. When the base on which the marzipan work is placed is opened, a shortcake made with lavish amounts of fresh strawberries appears from inside.
Chocolate cake with reindeer motif
The “Petit Rennes” cake is based on the motif of reindeer running across the night sky. The chocolate reindeer box opens to reveal a mascarpone mousse cake. The mousse is made with layers of sponge dough soaked in strawberry syrup and strawberry jelly, and the milky mascarpone is a perfect match.
