The “Rurouni Kenshin x Hello Kitty” goods, a collaboration between the “Rurouni Kenshin” movie series and Sanrio’s Hello Kitty, will be available from April 14 (Wed.), 2021, at Sanrio stores and the Sanrio corners of department stores.
Hello Kitty Goods Transformed into Kenshin & Enishi
The “Rurouni Kenshin” film series is about to release its final two films, “Rurouni Kenshin: The Final” and “Rurouni Kenshin: The Beginning” on April 23 and June 4. This will be the second time the series has teamed up with Sanrio Hello Kitty, following the 2014 film “Rurouni Kenshin: The Last Chapter of the Legend”.
For this collaboration, Hello Kitty goods dressed as Himura Kenshin, Kamiya Kaoru, Yukishiro Enishi, and Yukishiro Tomoe will be available. In addition to plush toys and mascot holders, there will be stationery such as A4 clear file sets, three-color ballpoint pens and mechanical pencils, tote bags, tenugui-style towels, and other miscellaneous goods.
There will also be a limited time collaboration cafe!
The “Rurouni Kenshin x Hello Kitty” collaboration café will also be held at Sweets Paradise, starting with Sweets Paradise Ueno ABAB on April 22 (Thu) and continuing at seven stores nationwide. The Osaka event will be held at the EXPO CITY store.
