The “Craft Gyoza Festival” will be held again, bringing back the Golden Walk Gyoza event that drew 360,000 visitors in 2022.
About 30 kinds of unique dumplings selected from all over Japan
In the autumn of 2022, the event will be moved to Saitama, where a selection of gyoza from all over Japan will be served. About 30 kinds of unique gyoza will be served, including famous gyoza from the “two major gyoza cities,” Utsunomiya and Hamamatsu, as well as more advanced gyoza and gyoza that are popular with women.
For example, Gyoza no Miyadenden, which is representing its hometown of Saitama, offers “Koedo Kurobuta Gyoza with Wings,” using rare Kawagoe brand pork and focusing on local production for local consumption.
Miyako Panda, from Kyoto, proposes refreshingly fragrant lemon gyoza, made with Kyotanba Kogen pork and kneaded with lemon peel, and a refreshing menu.
Gyoza and Wine Koukin to An (Gyoza and Wine),” by an Italian chef, offers the one and only deep-fried gyoza, “Tokachi Thick Miso Butter Beef Cutlet Gyoza,” which is a unique deep-fried gyoza.
