Komeda Coffee Shop’s Shinjuku Nakamuraya’s “Umami Spicy Curry” Spaghetti
The “Umami Spicy Curry Indian Spaghetti” is a new addition to the popular spaghetti menu at Komeda Coffee Shop, and uses a special curry sauce supervised by Shinjuku Nakamura-ya.
The spicy curry sauce is made from 11 different spices including turmeric, fenugreek, cumin, and coriander. Onions, carrots, apples, dates, and ground meat are added to the sauce, which is then simmered with bouillon and Worcestershire sauce to make it deliciously spicy. After the tangy spiciness, the flavor of the slowly simmered vegetables and fruits and the gentle sweetness spreads.
The spaghetti noodles are thick and hearty, and go well with the sauce. Try it with a cold drink during the hot season.
