RINGO, a freshly baked custard apple pie specialty store, has introduced a new fall-only item, “Freshly Baked Custard Anno Apple Pie,” which will be available from September 7 (Tuesday) to October 31 (Sunday), 2021.

“RINGO” is a brand that proposes autumn-only sweets using plenty of organic sweet potatoes produced in Goto City, Nagasaki Prefecture, under the title of “RINGO Sweet Potato MATSURI. The first product to be added to the lineup is the “Freshly Baked Custard Anno Apple Pie”, a rich autumn flavored apple pie using Anno sweet potato paste.
The filling, which is the key to the flavor, is made of paste of Anno sweet potatoes from Goto City, Nagasaki Prefecture, apple preserves that have been boiled so as to preserve the shape of the fruit, vanilla extract and honey to add depth to the flavor. The rich, moist sweetness of the Anno sweet potato and the fresh sourness of the apple make for an exquisite harmony.
Purple sweet potato apple pie muffin with purple sweet potato paste is also available.
In addition, a new flavor of the limited edition “Apple Pie Muffin,” which was introduced in March as a product commemorating the brand’s 5th anniversary, “Purple Sweet Potato Apple Pie Muffin,” will be available from early October.
