“Sweet Potato Expo 2023” will be held at Saitama Super Arena Keyaki Hiroba from Wednesday, February 22, 2023 to Sunday, February 26, 2023.
Japan’s largest “Sweet Potato Festival” “Sweet Potato Expo 2023”
The popular event “Sweet Potato Expo”, where baked sweet potato and sweet potato fans gather, will be held again in 2023. Shops that specialize in sweet potatoes from all over the country gather to deliver specialty baked sweets and gourmet foods.
The “Baked Sweet Potato Grand Prix”, which decides the number one in Japan, will also be held.
At “Sweet Potato Expo 2023”, we have prepared various projects related to sweet potatoes and baked sweet potatoes. Among them, the highlight is the “3rd National Baked Sweet Potato Grand Prix”, which decides the number one yaki-imo nationwide. A total of 26 popular shops will be gathered, including the previous winner “Baked Sweet Potato Farmer’s Kitchen”, “Extra honey Baked Sweet Potato pukupuk”, “OIMO café”, and “Kurataya Sweets”.
Visitors can not only purchase baked sweet potatoes from stores they are interested in, but they can also carefully select and purchase their favorite and rare varieties. Each store boasts a lineup of baked sweet potatoes, so be sure to enjoy voting while comparing them.
Also, during the event, the “Japan Sweet Potato Summit” will be held to introduce unique and enthusiastic sweet potato producers.
