FamilyMart has started to sell “Danish like a pie nut”, which was jointly developed with Lotte, at FamilyMart stores nationwide from April 20, 2021 (Tuesday).
Lotte’s “Pie Bites” (Pie no Mi in Japanese)
Since its birth in 1979, Lotte’s “Pie no Mi” has been a long-selling product that offers a balance of crunchy pie and chocolate. FamilyMart has recreated the “Pi no Mi” by filling the hexagonal pie crust, the same shape as the original “Pi no Mi”, with smooth milk chocolate and baking it with egg on the surface.
The standard weight comparison is about 17 times that of the original. Despite its large size, it is fragrant, crispy, and crunchy, and looks, feels, and tastes just like a pie nut.
