From Shinjuku-based shaved ice specialty store “Kori Obake (Ice Monster)”, “Hydrangea Ice” is released in collaboration with “Red Bean Paste Flower”. It will be sold at Kori Obake (Ice Monster) from June 8th (Thursday) to June 19th (Monday), 2023.
Shaved ice that looks like a hydrangea
“Kori Obake (Ice Monster)” is a shaved ice specialty store that offers shaved ice that is particular about its appearance and taste. This time, for the 2023 rainy season, we will prepare shaved ice “Hydrangea ice” with a beautiful hydrangea motif in collaboration with “Flower of Anko”, which makes white bean paste into a shape that looks like a real flower.
“Flower of Anko” handmade Japanese sweets “Hydrangea” stand out, and on top of “Hydrangea ice”, white bean espuma, blue, purple, pink and hydrangea colored agar are turned on. The middle layer is a soy milk blueberry sauce with blueberry fruit and soybean powder cream added, and the bottom layer is layered with matcha syrup containing grainy red bean paste and chewy gyuhi.
