Grand Front Osaka will hold the Christmas event “Grand Wish Christmas 2022 – Invitation to the ‘Harry Potter’ Wizarding World Christmas” in collaboration with the “Harry Potter” Wizarding World from November 10 (Thu) to December 25 (Sun), 2022.
Grand Front Osaka x “Harry Potter” Wizarding World Christmas Event
During the period, decorations and illuminations expressing the world of the “Harry Potter” Wizarding World will appear throughout the museum. Visitors can enjoy the magical atmosphere of Christmas, which is depicted as a special event in the film.
13-meter high main Christmas tree
The main event will be the “Floating Magic Tree,” a 13-meter high Christmas tree with various motifs from the story. The lighting show that will be held in the evening during the event period will feature a floating staircase and mysterious footprints that will pass through the staircase and other fantastic effects.
Also, a gorgeous photo frame will appear in front of the tree. Visitors can take a memorable photo in front of the glowing tree.
Umekita Plaza “Champagne Gold Illumination
The “Champagne Gold Illumination” will be held around Umekita Plaza in front of JR Osaka Station, along the Yakeyaki-Namiki trees and on the west sidewalk of the North Building. In 2022, 16 of the illuminated trees will be decorated with special “Harry Potter” motifs. Each tree is decorated differently, so it is recommended to enjoy a walk while looking for the “Harry Potter” motifs.
Harry Potter” spots appear throughout Grand Front Osaka
Harry Potter spots will also appear throughout the facility. Ted Ebert, the art object in Umekita Plaza, a well-known “symbol” of Umeda, has been transformed into a wizard surrounded by Christmas boxes from the Wizarding World. At OSAMPO SPOT on the 6th floor of the South Building, the latest information on the works and facilities related to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter will be presented in an exhibition.
In addition, flags featuring the emblems of the four dormitories of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry that appear in the story of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter will be displayed on the first floor of the South Wing, in the Seseragi no Michi area.
Tully’s Coffee “Harry Potter” collaboration drinks and goods
TULLY’S COFFEE, located on the B1F of the South Building and the 1st and 9th floors of the North Building, offers a variety of menu items and goods in collaboration with the “Harry Potter” Wizarding World. The menu and items that will tickle the hearts of fans include a drink featuring the “mince pie” motif, a classic British confectionery.
