Maxell Aqua Park Shinagawa holds seasonal events using digital technology in collaboration with the creative company “NAKED, INC.”. In this event, which will be held again in 2022, you can enjoy the “early summer superb view” interwoven with sea creatures and digital art.
Gorgeous entrance
The first thing that appears after passing through the gate is a video of colorful digital flowers and sunlight filtering through the trees. There is also an experience-based mechanism such as “flower petals dancing” when you hold your hand over the aquarium where brightly colored fish swim.
Mysterious immersive area with the image of “forest”
In the “Marine Forest” area, where you can enjoy an immersive space, the state of the “forest” that slowly transforms into a mysterious night is expressed through dynamic image production and the layout of the aquarium. In the 11 aquariums lined up on the floor, fishes associated with the names and colors of flowers dance and swim. In the space where flowers and greenery swaying in the wind and thick trees are projected, coupled with the sound production, you can feel as if you are bathing in the forest.
“Blooming Street” inspired by “flowers blooming in the sea”
If you walk down “Blooming Street” where gorgeous video productions are projected and showcases decorated with aquariums and flower artworks are lined up, you will feel positive. This season’s theme is “Flowers Blooming in the Sea”. Anemones that look like flowers swaying in the waves and pretty fish that live nearby will be collected and exhibited.
There is also a mysterious jellyfish tank
“Jellyfish Rumble” is a fantastic exhibition zone that fascinates jellyfish with sound and light effects. The space is decorated with lighting based on blues and greens that make you feel the freshness of early summer, and there are seven cylindrical aquariums and a symbolic aquarium with crystals on the entire surface, and various types of jellyfish are gracefully floating. .
A dolphin show that invites you to the “early summer sea”
In addition, the “Dolphin Performance”, which has gained a lot of popularity every time, will be held in two versions, a day version and a night version. In the day version, we will develop an energetic performance that anticipates summer in tune with rock music. On the other hand, the night version expresses the world of the colorful “early summer sea” by making full use of projection mapping.
