Limited-edition doughnuts with a motif of the tiger, the Chinese zodiac sign for 2010
To celebrate the arrival of the New Year, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts is offering a limited edition doughnut for the New Year’s holiday season, the “Tora Custard,” based on the Chinese zodiac sign for 2022, and filled with gently sweet custard cream made with milk from Hokkaido. The doughnut is coated with pudding chocolate to resemble a face, and the dull eyes and tiger pattern are drawn with bitter chocolate, and the mouth is expressed with mellow white chocolate. A sesame cheese cracker is also placed on top to resemble pointy ears.
The “Tora Choco Crumble” is the original glazed version of the most popular doughnut, layered with Ghanaian cocoa chocolate icing and topped with a buttery crunchy crunch. Its eye-catching coloring is reminiscent of a tiger.

The Strawberry Sprinkle Ring, also based on the Original Glazed, is filled with sweet and sour strawberry chocolate and crunchy sprinkles. 7 colors of sprinkles will add color to your New Year.
A set of 12 pieces to celebrate the New Year
A 12-piece “GO GO SWEET Chinese Zodiac Dozen” box containing these three doughnuts and the winter-only “Chocolate Snowman” is also available. This is the perfect set for New Year’s Day when family and loved ones gather.

From January 1 (Saturday) to 3 (Monday), 2022, select Krispy Kreme Doughnut stores will also release the “Krispy Kreme Doughnut Fukubukuro 2022. There are two types of grab bags available: the “Dozen Set” and the “Special Set.
The “Dozen Set” includes the “Fukubukuro Dozen,” a set of limited edition doughnuts for the year-end and New Year holidays, an original eco bag, and the “Doughnut Passport 2022,” which can be exchanged for 12 doughnuts of your choice. The “Special Set” includes the contents of the “Dozen Set” plus an “Original Eco Bag Mini” and another “Donut Passport 2022”.
