Hotel Nikko Osaka will hold an afternoon tea in collaboration with Pineapple Candy from June 1 (Wed) to 30 (Thu), 2022.
Afternoon tea with “Pineapple Candy” flavored sweets
Pineapple Candy, known for its cute pineapple-like shape and juicy sweet and sour taste, and Hotel Nikko Osaka have collaborated to create a lineup of sweets and savories that mimic the taste and shape of Pineapple Candy on a three-tier stand.
The “Pineapple Candy Shortcake,” which looks like a pineapple, is a fluffy cake filled with “Pineapple Candy” whipped cream. The “Pineapple Rusk” is shaped like Pineapple Candy, and the “Pineapple Part Deux Fruits” is covered with chocolate Pineapple Candy Jelly.
The restaurant will also offer savory items such as a “Pork Patty Mini Burger” with “Pineapple Candy” confiture and a salad topped with “Pineapple Candy” powder.
Limited edition shaved ice with “pineapple candy” sauce
In addition, Hotel Nikko Osaka will offer “Pineapple Candy Ice” for a limited time from Friday, July 1 to Wednesday, August 31. The shaved ice is made of fluffy milk ice with coconut ice cream, caramelized pineapple, and caramel jelly, topped with two kinds of sauces, “Pineapple Candy” and coconut, pineapple compote flavored with “Pineapple Candy,” and “Pineapple Candy” rusks, making it a hearty shaved ice.
