The new items with the motif of Ghibli’s “Castle in the Sky” are now available at the nationwide Studio Ghibli goods store “Ghibli ga Ippai Donguri Republic”, and went on sale on Saturday, October 23, 2021.
“Fried egg bread” in a pouch?
In commemoration of the 35th anniversary of the release of Ghibli’s “Castle in the Sky,” new items featuring scenes and characters from the film are now available. The most notable item is a small pouch with a motif of “fried egg bread,” which is one of the most popular “Ghibli rice” that appears in Ghibli movies.
The “fried egg bread” that Pazu offers to Theta is a simple recipe of toast with a half-boiled fried egg on top, but it has a mysterious charm that makes you want to eat it without any reason.
