The cherry blossom festival “SAKURA FES NIHONBASHI 2023” will be held in Nihonbashi, Tokyo from March 17th (Friday) to April 9th (Sunday), 2023.

“Sakura Fes Nihonbashi 2023” is an annual spring event in the Nihonbashi area that will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2023. This time as well, various projects with the theme of “cherry blossoms” will be developed.
Cherry blossom light up
“Cherry Blossom Light Up” will be held at “Edo Sakura Dori”, one of the important cultural properties along Chuo Dori, large buildings, and one of the famous cherry blossom viewing spots in Nihonbashi. The facility and the cherry blossoms at night are illuminated with pink lights to create a fantastic mood.
Sakura stalls with limited menus
The Nihonbashi Sakura Yatai is a popular project of the “Sakura Fes Nihonbashi” held for the first time in four years. Around Fukutoku Shrine, long-established restaurants, department stores, hotels, and commercial facilities in the Nihonbashi area will open various food stalls, offering original menus that can be easily enjoyed. Mandarin Oriental Tokyo’s “Sakura Churros” are a must-try, with a gentle scent of cherry blossoms.

Also pay attention to spring-only menus and goods with the theme of “cherry blossoms” at about 240 stores in the Nihonbashi area. For sweets, just look at Patisserie ISOZAKI’s “Sakura Mont Blanc”, The Mandarin Oriental Gourmet Shop’s cherry blossom-colored cake “Urara.” There are many gorgeous items that will make you feel better.
For drinks, Godiva Café Nihonbashi offers a combination of white chocolate, sakura bean paste, and sakura crunch, such as the Spring Visit Sakura Chocolixir.

Sakura noren installation
The “Sakura Noren” that will appear for the first time in COREDO Muromachi Terrace Oyane Plaza is an installation that dyes the “Noren” that has colored the commercial district of Nihonbashi since the Edo period in cherry blossoms. A total of 16 large-sized noren curtains have colors associated with the various varieties of cherry blossoms that bloom in Nihonbashi, such as Yoshino cherry, Okame cherry, and Kawazu cherry, and patterns inspired by petals dancing in the wind.
