Illumination event to decorate Odaiba
Odaiba’s popular annual illumination event “Illumination Island Odaiba” will make a comeback in 2022. This year, 14 facilities including “DECKS Tokyo Beach,” “Statue of Liberty,” and “Aqua City Odaiba” will be participating, each decorated with unique and colorful illuminations.
20-meter-high Christmas tree wrapped in light
A 20-meter-tall Christmas tree covered in beautiful lights will be installed at DECKS Tokyo Beach, which commands a panoramic view of Tokyo Tower and Rainbow Bridge. The trees around the facility and the entire deck will also be decorated with twinkling lights to create a fantastic atmosphere.
Colorful objects with a “moon” motif
Aqua City Odaiba will be decorated with colorful objects with a “moon” motif. The entire facility will be lit up according to the season, offering a spectacular view.
Rainbow-colored lights
In addition, the Statue of Liberty will be illuminated in rainbow-colored lights, the grand staircase of the Festival Plaza in DiverCity Tokyo Plaza will be decorated in rainbow colors, and Tokyo Big Sight will be dyed in Christmas colors.
