Imperial Hotel Osaka’s 2021 Christmas cake will be available at the takeout corner of the Buffet & Lounge “The Park” from Sunday, December 19, 2021 to Saturday, December 25, 2021. Reservations will be accepted from Wednesday, October 20 until Tuesday, December 14.
10 types of Christmas cakes at Imperial Hotel Osaka
The Imperial Hotel Osaka has developed 10 types of Christmas cakes for the 2021 Christmas season. With the traditional Imperial Hotel Buche de Noel, Millefeuille, and Christmas Shortcake as the core, the hotel will offer a diverse lineup of new items and cute petit gateaux to choose from according to the occasion.
The centerpiece is the new Christmas cake “Noel Rouge”. It is made with ruby chocolate mousse and pistachio cream to represent a gorgeous Christmas tree. With the pistachio dough sandwiched between strawberries as the base, there are eight layers of cream and mousse, so you can fully enjoy the different textures and flavors.
The Imperial Hotel’s traditional “Buche de Noel” is decorated with Santa Claus and holly motifs for a cute style. The soft and fluffy sponge dough is combined with coffee flavored butter cream with caramel.
The “Millefeuille,” a crispy pie crust with strawberries, is decorated with chocolate decorations, strawberries, and blueberries for a Christmas look. The “Christmas Shortcake,” decorated with Santa Claus and snowmen, and the “Chocolat de Noel,” with bittersweet bitter chocolate as the main ingredient, are available in several sizes to suit any occasion.

The “Christmas Petit Gateau” is also available, which is friendly to those who live alone. Three types of Christmas-style cakes are available, including “Gilliland,” a dried fruit pound cake topped with a pistachio bavarois.
