Godiva (GODIVA) has released a new flavor of cup ice cream, “Chocolate Banana,” as a “Godiva x Minion” limited edition. It will be sold in limited quantities at supermarkets and convenience stores nationwide.

The popular Minion character is attracting even more attention with the release of the movie “Minions Fever” on Friday, July 15. Godiva has been releasing chocolate and chocolate liqueurs in collaboration with the Minions, and now Godiva is introducing a new “Chocolate Banana” flavor ice cream cup, which is an interpretation of the Minions’ favorite food, bananas.
The “Chocolate Banana” flavor consists of ice cream with banana puree mixed with Godiva’s chocolate sauce. The rich, bittersweet chocolate sauce adds an accent to the mild taste and refreshing aftertaste of the ice cream with banana puree.
Limited edition set with cooling bag is also available.
A limited edition set combining a cup of “Chocolate Banana” ice cream and a Minion cooled bag is also available at Godiva limited stores and other outlets. The bag has a fun Minion image on it.
