The event “4th Fish Japan Festival 2023 (SAKANA & JAPAN FESTIVAL2023)” where you can taste “seafood dishes” from all over the country will be held in Tokyo for 4 days from February 23, 2023 (Thursday / holiday) to February 26 (Sunday). ・Held at Yoyogi Park.

“Fish Japan Festival” held for the first time in four years

“Fish Japan Festival” is a sister event of “Japan Fisherman’s Festival”, a “seafood cuisine” event held in Hibiya Park every November. The total number of visitors to both events has reached about 1.2 million, making it one of the largest seafood food festivals in Japan.

About 70 booths are scheduled to open

The long-awaited revival of the “Fish Japan Festival” after four years. In 2023, about 70 booths are scheduled to open, and the opening area will expand. You can enjoy seafood gourmet food from all over the country to your heart’s content.

A wide variety of “seafood dishes”

At the venue, a wide variety of Japanese, Western, and Chinese seafood dishes such as seafood bowls, fisherman’s meals, seafood ramen, and seafood paella, which boast fresh ingredients, will be gathered. “Alaska Seafood” Kobore Ikura Don with plenty of sockeye salmon roe, “Fish & Meat Man Kinjishi” Hokkaido Beef Nigiri with plenty of sea urchin and crab, and “Kokoro Kogare” with melting sea urchin. Luxurious seafood foods such as beef skirt steak are available.

Seasonal oysters gathered from all over Japan

There are also plenty of oysters, which are seasonal ingredients, and it is fun to eat and compare grilled oysters gathered from all over the country. Grilled oysters sent directly from oyster fishermen in Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture, and grilled oysters from Noto are available. The grilled Ezo abalone from “Hokkaido Harvest”, which carefully grills Hokkaido abalone one by one, is also a popular item.

In addition, there are many seafood menus from the sea area off the coast of Fukushima Prefecture, which is a treasure trove of delicious seafood called “Jobanmono”. Seafood rice bowls with a luxurious assortment of nodoguro, flounder, conger eel, whitebait, tuna, and negitoro, grilled sea urchin shellfish, steamed and grilled sea urchin, crab miso soup, and fatty saury grilled with salt are offered.
