Komeda’s coffee shop has introduced new menu items, “Shiro Noir Waka” and “Kroneige Waka,” which are flavored with soybean flour and black sesame, and will be available at Komeda coffee shops nationwide for a limited time from April 28, 2022 (Thursday) to mid-June (scheduled).
Kinako and black sesame flavors added to Shiro-noir and Cronège
Komeda Coffee Shop has introduced two new seasonal flavors, “Shiro-noir,” a popular Danish bread-based sweet, and “Cronège,” a warm cocoa baumkuchen-based sweet, in a “Waka” flavor. The signature “Shiro-noir” and “Cronège” are topped with Japanese ingredients such as soybean flour sauce and black sesame sauce.
One bite and the gentle sweetness of the soybean flour and the savory flavor of the black sesame seeds will spread softly. It is a “blend of Japanese and Western sweets” that goes well with the mildly flavored soft-serve ice cream.
