In conjunction with autumn, when you can appreciate the beautiful autumn leaves in Kyoto, special openings will be held for temples that hold various temple treasures, such as historical buildings that are normally closed to the public and cultural assets related to Tokugawa Ieyasu. Daitokuji, a temple associated with Sengoku daimyo such as Nobunaga Oda and Hideyoshi Toyotomi, will hold special autumn exhibitions at “Oubai-in”, “Korin-in” and “Somi-in”.

At “Kenninji Temple Kyushoin”, you can appreciate “Nagashino Battle Map” depicting the Battle of Nagashino, in which the allied forces of Nobunaga Oda and Ieyasu Tokugawa defeated the army of Katsuyori Takeda.
