LAWSON, which has been developing sweets jointly with various companies and specialty stores, has joined forces with RINGO, a freshly baked custard apple pie specialty store. This is the first time that LAWSON and RINGO have jointly developed sweets.
One of the two sweets is the “Uchi Cafe x RINGO Crispy Apple Pie Cake. The crushed pie is layered with sponge dough, apple sauce with apple pulp, rich flavored custard cream, and topped with diced apples, whipped cream, caramel apple sauce, and crushed pie. The diced apples, whipped cream, caramelized apple sauce, and crushed pie topping give the dessert a crispy, sweet apple texture.
On top of the 256-layer pie crust, there is a rich custard cream and apple preserves made from Japanese Fuji apples, which have a good balance of sweetness and acidity.
