New Cherry Blossom Macaroons: 7 Flavors at Once
From Patisserie SATSUKI’s popular macarons comes a new sweet set called “New Cherry Blossom Macarons,” which combines seven flavors into one. The centerpiece of the set is two Japanese flavored macarons.
The cherry blossom macaron, with its vivid red color, is an excellent product sandwiched between salted cherry blossoms and sweetened bean paste with cherry blossom liqueur for a rich flavor. It has the perfect balance of sweetness and saltiness, and is recommended to be enjoyed with Japanese tea.
On the other hand, the “Sakekasu Macaron,” made with sake lees from the Japanese sake “Tsururei,” is a unique sweet with miso as a secret ingredient. White ganache of soy milk with sake lees and miso with lactic acid bacteria are sandwiched in a lightly textured macaron dough.
The “New Cherry Blossom Macaroon” includes popular flavors such as “Rose Macaroon” inspired by roses and “Rum Raisin Macaroon” with fragrant rum raisins.
