Lindt has launched the “Lindt Melty Hot Chocolate Drink”, the “richest drink in the history of the brand”, at Lindt Chocolates Boutiques & Cafes nationwide from Monday, October 18, 2021 to Thursday, January 6, 2022.
The “richest and most luxurious” hot chocolate drink in Lindt history
Lindt’s new “Lindt Melty Hot Chocolate Drink” is the richest and most luxurious hot chocolate drink in the brand’s history. Based on couverture chocolate from Ecuador, the drink uses “snow salt” from Miyakojima Island and “HONWA CHOCOLATE” from Okinawa to bring out the aroma of cocoa and elegant sweetness.
In 1879, Lindt developed the world’s first “conching” technology to enhance the smoothness of chocolate, and you can taste the fine texture that only Lindt can provide.
Toppings to increase the “chocolatey” feel
The rich drink can be savored as is, or topped with other toppings to increase the “chocolateness” of the drink. You can make it even richer by topping it with “chocolate copeau,” which is made by shaving three kinds of chocolate: Ecuadorian couverture chocolate, milk chocolate, and wheat chocolate.
The sight of the chocolate copeau melting into the drink is also somewhat romantic. This is the thickest and smoothest chocolatey drink in the history of Lindt, and you should definitely try it at the store.

In conjunction with the release of the “Lindt Melty Hot Chocolate Drink”, Lindt will also be offering two limited edition sweets. Lindt Delice 85% Cacao” and “Lindt Delice 99% Cacao,” high-cacao baked sweets that were popular in the past, will be reissued for a limited time.
