Lotte’s “Choco Pie” has introduced new flavors “Strawberry & Macadamia Nut” and “Pineapple & Coconut,” inspired by “Hawaiian Pancakes,” which went on sale on Tuesday, April 12, 2022.
New chocolate pie filled with Hawaiian air
The new chocolate pie, which captures the atmosphere of the everlasting summer island of Hawaii, is inspired by the taste of two types of pancakes that are representative of Hawaii. The “moist” dough of the chocolate pie, which resembles a pancake, is filled with sauces and creams that represent the flavors of each pancake.
The Strawberry & Macadamia Nut Pancake is a realistic reproduction of the popular Hawaiian pancake, with a rich macadamia cream and sweet and sour strawberry sauce. The Pineapple & Coconut, on the other hand, combines the tropical flavors of pineapple sauce and coconut cream.
And the custard cake.
On the same day, the “Custard Cake” lineup also includes Hawaiian-inspired “Tropical Fruit” and “Blueberry Pancake” flavors. All four new products have been officially approved by the Hawaii Tourism Authority.
