Lindt has launched a limited time only drink, “Lindt Dark – Matcha in the Sky – Chocolat Drink,” which will be available at Lindt Chocolat Boutiques & Cafes nationwide from April 4 (Mon.) to May 31 (Tue.), 2022.
Lindt’s “Ultimate” Matcha Chocolate Drink
The “Lindt Dark – Matcha in the Sky – Chocolat Drink” is a supreme chocolate drink that combines Lindt’s special white chocolate and rich matcha green tea. Matcha green tea panna cotta is added to the middle of the drink to add a pulled-together texture. The top is decorated with matcha artwork depicting Mount Fuji and a sea of clouds in white chocolate, creating a beautiful visual finish.
The drink features “Matcha of the Sky,” which is made from only the first tea of the rare “Okumidori” variety. The bright green color, full-bodied aroma, and rich flavor of matcha can be enjoyed in a luxurious way.
Macarons using “matcha green tea from the sky
The rich taste of “matcha in the sky” can also be enjoyed in “Delice” macaroons made with Lindt chocolate. The macarons are sandwiched between ganache made with matcha green tea from the sky, and when eaten with a drink, the aroma and taste of matcha green tea can be appreciated even more.
Japanese macaroons of “hojicha & cherry” are also available.
In addition, two types of macaroons with an even more Japanese flavor will be available to coincide with the release of the “Lindt Dark – Matcha in the Sky – Chocolat Drink”.
The flavors include “Delice Houjicha,” made with carefully selected hojicha tea that goes well with white chocolate and sandwiched between ganache with a strong aroma, richness, sweetness and bitterness, and “Delice Matcha,” a fruity ganache made with white chocolate and a sweet and sour Japanese cherry puree. The fresh-tasting “Delice Cherry” will be available.
