Yukimi Daifuku x Kikyo Shingen Mochi, supervised by Kikyoya, will go on sale at convenience stores nationwide from January 25, 2022 (Tue).
Lotte’s Yukimi Daifuku ice cream, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary, and Kikyo Shingen Mochi, a famous Yamanashi snack, have collaborated for the first time. The flavor of “Kikyo Shingen Mochi”, which is a rice cake covered with fragrant soybean flour and served with plenty of molasses, is expressed with a thick molasses sauce and soybean flour ice cream.
In order to recreate Kikyo Shingen Mochi, the mochi is thicker than regular Yukimi Daifuku. The thick mochi, which is soft even when frozen, is filled with soybean flour ice cream and kuromitsu sauce for a luxurious taste.
