From BAO BAO ISSEY MIYAKE’s 2023 spring/summer season, a new bag for May will be released. From May 1, 2023 (Monday), it will be on sale at stores nationwide that carry BAO BAO ISSEY MIYAKE.
A new color for the shoulder bag inspired by the “Bird’s Nest”
“LUCENT NEST” is a series of bags characterized by a “bird’s nest” design in which small triangular pieces protrude from the body of the bag. There are plenty of gussets on the sides, so the parts around the mouth can be taken in and out to change the shape and volume.
The new colors are charcoal gray x light gray with a sophisticated mood, refreshing green x light green, and calm camel beige x light beige.
Refined matte x leather shoulder bag
The “FLAP SHOULDER” series bag, which features a vertical flap and a minimal silhouette, comes in light gray that creates a chic and relaxed feeling in addition to the standard matte black.
The matte leather-like material gives a classic impression and can be elegantly combined with formal clothes. In addition, by changing the length of the strap, you can enjoy using it as a crossbody or one-shoulder according to your coordination.

From the “LUCENT GLOSS” series, which features glossy materials, two types of new colors have appeared: the standard tote bag type and the shoulder bag that can store luggage such as smartphones and small wallets.
For the upcoming warm season, we have prepared three colors: refreshing light gray, soft lavender, and bright green. All of them change from a flat shape to a sculptural three-dimensional shape when something is placed inside.
