Onitsuka Tiger plans to release T-shirts in collaboration with the popular game “Street Fighter 6” at Capcom Stores Tokyo and Osaka in the fall of 2022.
Onitsuka Tiger and “Street Fighter” team up again!
Capcom’s “Street Fighter” has been a popular fighting game since its release as an arcade game in 1987, and in recent years has taken the e-sports world by storm.
Onitsuka Tiger x “Street Fighter 6” collaboration T-shirt
Onitsuka Tiger and “Street Fighter” have teamed up again, this time for the second time in 2019. The collaboration will feature original visuals of “Chun-Li,” a character from the game, and “Kimberly,” a new character from “Street Fighter 6. Chun-Li wears Onitsuka Tiger’s iconic MEXICO 66 shoes, while Kimberly wears the DELECITY sneaker, inspired by archival shoes.
The special design unique to this collaboration has been incorporated into a T-shirt. The original visual is printed on the back hem. The upper front of the T-shirt features the Onitsuka Tiger logo in a “Street Fighter”-style font, creating a playful and fun T-shirt.
Details on the design and retail price will be available at Capcom stores in Tokyo and Osaka, as well as at Capcom’s official mail order site, eCapcom.
Onitsuka Tiger and Wissut Ponnimit collaboration items are also available.
In addition, “Street Fighter 6” items created in collaboration between Onitsuka Tiger and Wisut Ponnimit, a Thai cartoonist popular for his “Mamuan-chan” character, will be available in the first half of 2023. The items will feature original graphics of “Chun-Li” and “Kimberly” drawn by Wisut Ponnimit.
