Mary’s Chocolate will introduce “Pokemon meets Mary’s Chocolate” for Valentine’s Day 2023, which will be available at department stores nationwide starting Monday, December 26, 2022.
Valentine’s Day chocolates with “pixel-art Pokemon”
Pokémon meets Merry Chocolate, which was very popular in 2022, will be available again in 2023. The box, decorated with pixel art, is filled with a special assortment of chocolates inspired by Pokémon types. This year’s lineup features a total of eight types, including new products featuring Mew, Mewtwo, and Eevee.

The center of attention is the “Well-Being Assortment Box,” which represents the process of evolution of four types of Pokémon. Inside the box are chocolates featuring popular Pokémon such as Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle.
Chocolate with “Mew & Mewtwo” motif
The “Assortment Box” featuring images of the phantom Pokémon Mew and the legendary Pokémon Mewtwo is a new product for Valentine’s Day 2023. It features chocolates with designs inspired by the Esper-type moves “Confusion” and “Psychokinesis,” as well as chocolates with images of Mew and Mewtwo’s tails.
Chocolates with the image of Eevee and its evolved forms
Also check out the “Eevee & Friends Chocolate” featuring Eevee and her evolved forms on the packaging. The pen case-shaped tin is filled with chocolates squeezed round to resemble the body colors of Eevee, Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon, as well as chocolates depicting monster balls.

The lineup also includes a set of two cans with designs of a Monster Ball and a Master Ball. The red Monster Ball contains a set of chocolates with designs of five different Pokémon encountered in the Kantou Region, and the purple Master Ball contains a set of chocolates with designs of five different legendary and phantom Pokémon from the Kantou Region.
Each chocolate contains crushed almonds and cookie crunch. The chocolates are individually wrapped, making them a great Valentine’s Day gift for a large group.
