Rihga Royal Hotel (Osaka) will hold the “Autumn Harvest Festival” featuring Halloween-themed sweets and breads at the hotel’s take-out store “Gourmet Boutique Melissa”. The event will run from Saturday, October 1 to Monday, October 31, 2022.
Halloween-themed cakes and breads
Three types of cakes are available, including “Pumpkin Cake” and “Cassis Chocolate Mousse,” which evoke Halloween and have a cute appearance. The eye-catching “Ghost Candle,” a candle-shaped cake, features caramel and chocolate sauces drizzled on top of gâteau chocolat to realistically depict a candle melting.
Breads with a Halloween motif full of originality are also available. Halloween Mushroom” is made with beef stew and sauteed buna shimeji mushrooms wrapped in bread dough and baked in the shape of a mushroom. Halloween Melon Pan” with pumpkin cream has a chocolate face drawn on the surface for a cute impression.
Baked goods and side dishes
The lineup also includes Halloween-only baked goods and side dishes such as “Wagyu Beef Hamburger Steak with Demi-glace Sauce” served with autumn vegetables such as mushrooms and pumpkins.
