RINGO, a freshly baked custard apple pie specialty store, has collaborated with Top’s, a confectionary store, to offer a limited menu of “Freshly Baked Apple Pie with Chocolate Cream” and “Chocolate Pie Muffin with Walnuts and Apples”. These items will be available for a limited time from Tuesday, January 11, 2022.

RINGO sells more than 6 million apple pies a year, mainly the freshly baked custard apple pie, which features 144 layers of crispy pie crust, plenty of custard cream, and a gooey filling. This time, for the Valentine’s season, a collaboration menu with “TOPS”, a confectionary store popular for its chocolate cakes, will be added to the lineup.

The “Freshly Baked Apple Pie with Chocolate Cream” is an apple pie that combines the custard cream, which is the key to its flavor, with the bitter chocolate used in the TOPS chocolate cake. The pie crust has a rich aroma of cocoa and butter, apple preserves (apples that have been cooked to retain their fruit shape), and a rich chocolate custard cream.

On the other hand, the “Walnut and Apple Chocolate Pie Muffin” is a muffin with apple preserves and cocoa powder filling in a dough kneaded with milk chocolate, which is also used in Tops baked goods.
