Sanrio Puroland will hold its year-end and New Year’s event “Happy Bunny Year 2023” from Monday, December 26, 2022 to Tuesday, January 10, 2023.
2023 New Year’s event in honor of the “Year of the Rabbit.”
Sanrio Puroland’s New Year’s event, which celebrates the start of the new year, will make a comeback in 2023. This year, in honor of the “Year of the Rabbit,” popular Sanrio characters, mainly those of the Chinese zodiac with rabbit motifs, will set the mood for a fun-filled year-end and New Year’s celebration.
A “fake Melody” dressed up as My Melody appears.
The centerpiece of the event will be the “Chara-Guri Residence,” a greeting attraction that is modeled after the luxury apartments where the characters live. During the event, the rabbit character My Melody will appear daily, and a total of six characters, including Cinnamoroll, Pom Pom Pudding, and Komichun, will appear as “fake Melodies” wearing My Melody hoods. During the period, a different greeting will be held each day.
Welcome greeting by “Rabbit Characters”
The annual welcome greeting by the zodiac characters will also be held. Rabbit characters such as Sugar Bunnies, Marron Cream, and Wish Me Mel will welcome guests. Which character will appear and in what costume will be a treat on the day of the event.
Photo spot in honor of the “Year of the Rabbit”
In addition, a photo spot will be prepared in honor of the “Year of the Rabbit. Visitors can take pictures with cute characters wearing My Melody hoodies. It is also recommended to send the photos as a New Year’s greeting.
