Starbucks will release new tea beverages, Double Matcha Tea Latte and Strawberry & Yewsberry Tea, on Wednesday, June 22, 2022.
New “Double Matcha Tea Latte” & “Strawberry & Yewsberry Tea
The Double Matcha Tea Latte is an iced drink that contains twice as much matcha powder as the popular Matcha Tea Latte, which is usually served only hot. The rich matcha flavor and the smooth texture of the milk combine to create a satisfying drink. Matcha green tea liquid, inspired by matcha green tea, is poured over the top of the gently sweetened milk to create a visually appealing drink.
Strawberry & Yewsberry Tea, with its refreshing fruity flavor, is a bright red tea beverage perfect for hot days. It is a mix of Teavana’s “Youthberry Tea,” which has a gorgeous flavor spreading from its white tea base, strawberry pulp, and apple puree. The refreshing taste of the fruit’s sweet and sour, pulpy texture and fragrant quince juice is sure to blow away the thick summer heat.
