The “Teddy Bear Samurai” series from Steiff will be available for pre-order from November 6, 2021 (Sat) at select stores and other retailers.
Steiff’s “Samurai” May dolls
Steiff’s “Teddy Bear Samurai” is a series of “May dolls” to be released for the Boys’ Festival. This plush toy is a blend of Japanese and Western styles, with an innocent-looking teddy bear wearing armor, a symbol of strength, and will be available in two patterns.
Gorgeous teddy bear in vermilion and gold
The “Big Hoe Gold” is a teddy bear wearing vermilion armor, and is a reworking of a design that was popular in 2020. The body of the teddy bear is a special design created for this event, with a smart and fearless look. The gold horns on the glittering helmet have been upgraded from a medium hoe to a large hoe, giving it an even more luxurious appearance.

A cool crescent moon helmet by Masamune Date.
The “Crescent Moon II” is a renewed version of a teddy bear that was popular in 2019 with its cool silver and blue coloring. The helmet features a powerful “crescent moon” hoe shape inspired by warlord Date Masamune, and the gap between the bear’s expression and the helmet is adorable. An acrylic case for displaying the samurai is also available.
