Strawberry Afternoon Tea with a touch of Paris
Strawberry Afternoon Tea in Paris” will be held at The Lobby Lounge of the exotic Ritz-Carlton, Osaka. Strawberry sweets and savories, named after French ladies and gentlemen, are arranged on tea stands, and the entire afternoon tea is inspired by the atmosphere of Paris.
The upper tier features a lineup of pastry chef’s special strawberry sweets. The “Julie,” meaning “vigorous,” is a pistachio cookie topped with pistachio mousse with strawberry marmalade and whipped cream. The color contrast between the pistachios and strawberries makes this a “vibrant” dish.
Claire, which means “light,” is a sweet with strawberry marmalade, sweet and sour strawberry whipped cream, and strawberry jelly. The dazzling red visuals are reminiscent of a bright and cheerful French lady. The strawberry-shaped “Anais” sandwiched between ginger soft ice cream and strawberry mousse will also be available at the stand.
In addition to sweets, there will be savories inspired by French gentlemen, such as the “Paul,” a red cone stuffed with foie gras mousse, and the “Louis,” a burger sandwiched with country-style pate paté de campagne.
