On March 9, 2022, the Daimaru Matsuzakaya Department Store reopened the “Kaisendon (Seafood Bowl) Kiyo Maru” in Umeda, Osaka, and opened the first “Poki Don Go” store with a new production booth in the store.
Poke Bowl To-Go
POKE is a local Hawaiian food derived from the Hawaiian word for cut or slice. Poke Bowl started as a bowl of rice topped with poke, which was made of various local ingredients, mainly fish, cut into pieces and dressed with salt.
Poke bowls are served in an open showcase with the ingredients on display, and customers can directly ask for toppings and other items in a semi-order format, creating a one-of-a-kind and live atmosphere.
The original sesame oil-flavored soy sauce sauce is flour-free, sugar-free, and seasoning-free.
Two types of sesame oil are blended to create a flavorful sauce that is not cloying, and salt malt and kelp are used to give the sauce its umami.
