Since its birth in London in 1953, Laura Ashley has been offering a wide range of lifestyle products, from apparel using originally designed textiles to accessories, miscellaneous goods and interior design, and furniture. For this collaboration, the Ritz-Carlton, Osaka, which features an interior that resembles an English aristocrat’s home, will be the setting for an English-style afternoon tea based on traditional British style.
The Afternoon Tea Stand is decorated with a diverse menu that respects tradition while adding the originality of both brands. Pound cakes, an English favorite, scones essential for tea time, triangular sweet finger sandwiches with iconic patterns, and blackberry chocolate macaroons expressing a glamorous view of the world are lined up on Laura Ashley’s beautiful damask plates.
