The Ritz-Carlton, Osaka, in collaboration with Hibiya Kadan, is currently holding “Flower Afternoon Tea by Hibiya Kadan” from March 17 (Thu) to June 15 (Wed), 2022.

Hibiya Kadan, which currently has about 190 stores nationwide and handles floral gifts and floral decorations, has collaborated with The Ritz-Carlton, Osaka for the first time. For this afternoon tea, Hibiya Kadan has specially prepared a floral arrangement, and will deliver a sweet savory with a floral motif on top of it.
The centerpiece of the floral arrangement is a transparent acrylic box filled with preserved and artificial flowers. Guests can enjoy the colorful pink, orange, and blue flowers as they admire the hotel-made food.
The sweets and savories were created with the image of five plants: cherry blossoms, violets, poppies, roses, and lavender. The poppy-inspired sweets are made with strawberries, and the cherry blossom-inspired sweets are made with cherry blossoms…spring-like ingredients are also chosen.
In addition to the regular plan, a plan with a souvenir of floral blend herbal tea and a plan with a glass of Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Champagne and macaroons are also available.
During the afternoon tea, a display created by floral designer Ayaya Sonokawa of Hibiya Kadan will be on display in The Lobby Lounge of The Ritz-Carlton, Osaka, so you can enjoy an exciting afternoon tea time in a space surrounded by beautiful flowers.
