The Strawberry Afternoon Buffet has been held every year since 2015 and is a popular event at The Ritz-Carlton, Osaka, combining afternoon tea using strawberries with a sweet buffet. You can enjoy a variety of strawberry sweets.
Strawberry Sweets and Savory
The afternoon tea stand and buffet table will be decorated with a variety of traditional sweets such as strawberry macarons, strawberry tarts, rolls, panna cotta, and cheesecake, which are popular every year. Strawberries are also used in savory items such as strawberry risotto and mini fish burgers with strawberries, which are popular every year.
Special Sweets “Strawberry Millefeuille
The Strawberry Millefeuille, which is delivered individually to each table and finished in front of you by the chef, is another menu item of note. A fine layer of baked pastry is sandwiched between two layers of Diplomat Cream, a combination of custard cream and fresh cream, and topped with fresh strawberries. A special strawberry sauce is drizzled on top to finish off this special treat.
