The Westin Miyako Hotel Kyoto has prepared three types of Christmas cakes for the holiday season.
Pistachio cake representing a snowy forest
Noëlle Pistache” is a Christmas cake inspired by the image of “a forest of snow-covered trees. The cake is made with pistachio dough and mousse, and is filled with pistachio ganache and strawberry, raspberry, and griotte cherry jelly.
Elegant chocolate cake with orange chips on top
Noel Chocolat” decorated with orange chips. A layer of orange confit and chocolate mousse is layered on a nutty chocolate dough. It is topped with a glossy chocolate glaze for a refined, adult look.
“Noel Phrase” inspired by a white Christmas
The “Noel Phrase,” inspired by a white Christmas, is a wreath and snowflakes in cream. The top is decorated with an overflowing amount of raspberries, blueberries, and strawberries.
